Not new but boy are these on my wish list. Leaning towards the nude and blush varieties but would not turn down some of the brighter options.

24 hours in Nice
Due to a work event I spent a weekend in Monaco and Nice, and the Mr Dr joined me. With just over 24 hours in Nice strolling, eating, and enjoying some winter sunshine were the priority.
Breakfast and strolls in Vieille Ville, an adventure to Musée National Marc Chagall [not caught on camera].
I loved this mural and the fact that we caught the restaurant staff almost working in tandem with the artwork.
And I couldn't leave without Moules-frites on the beach.

Saturday pining for Spring
Spring & florals (go on and hate on it Miranda Priestly).
Seeing snowdrops on a run means spring is starting to arrive, but I do wish it would hurry.

Getting through the week
Tuesdays, I really feel, are the new Wednesday or Hump Day; especially in a grey February. Coffee is my life blood for leaving the duvet behind and cosy knits, scarves and neutral classics are what I climb into.

Dreaming of holidays and bare shoulders
After seeing the babe that is Natasha Oakley in this off the shoulder stunner I decided some frantic searching was in order. Not that I have any opportunity to wear anything off -shoulder for the foreseeable future but still I need that in my life. The dress is by Faithfull the Brand and the rest of their collection does not disappoint. Dreamy wish worthy lookbook and catalogue shots below - prepare to be whisked away to Bali. Which given the middle of February blues (sorry Valentines day you aren't helping this year) is sorely needed.
My pics? I seem to be falling for the Valentines theme and would happily click home any of the red items, be it playsuit (second pic), off the shoulder top (fourth pic) or the red dress (last pic). Roll on payday...

February book wish list
My aims for February reading. Although I've had The Goldfinch waiting for about 6 months, it's just so intimidating in hardback form!

Sunday
A sunny Sunday spent in slippers, belatedly finishing Christmas thank you letters and catching up on some magazines and blogs.
